The DSCC Chicago South Regional Office staff assist families
and children that reside within the city of Chicago.
The Chicago South Regional Office staff are available
Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Professional and Support
staff work together as a team to provide care coordination for eligible children.
Team members include Nurses, Social Workers, Speech and Hearing professionals
and program consultant aides (PCA). A Program Services Manager (PSM)
supervises the Regional office team. The office is located at:

Family Resource Center on Disabilities offers free training seminars on Special Education Rights on Saturday mornings (10am - 1pm) and the first Tuesday of each month (10am - 1pm). Spanish seminars are also available the second Wednesday of each month. If you are concerned about your child receiving special education services at his/her school, need help accessing and understanding your child's evaluation, need help preparing for your child's IEP meeting or annual review, or you're simply having a hard time understanding your rights under IDEA (Individuals with Disability Education Act), or need help preparing for a mediation meeting then you may benefit from attending one of these seminars.
