About Our Staff

Marion Regional Office staff are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Professional and Support staff work together as a team to provide care coordination for eligible children. Team members include Nurses, Social Workers, Speech and Hearing professionals and program consultant aides (PCA). A Program Services Manager (PSM) supervises the Regional office team. Lots of fun!  Swimming, canoeing, arts, crafts and nature programs.
The camp is free of charge.  The parent is responsible for transportation to and from the camp.  For more information about registration and application forms:

                    MENDED LITTLE HEARTS

A support group for parents of children with heart defects/heart disease.  Meets the fourth Tuesday of each month at St. Mary's Good Samaritan, Mt. Vernon IL.  Special programs are offered by guest speakers.  For information about upcoming programs,

     Illinois Prioritization of Urgency of Need for Services
                              (Illinois PUNS)

One-time consumer & family support stipends are soon to be available.  The maximum amount of a stipend will be up to $2,500.00.

To qualify for one of these stipends, you need to be signed up on the Illinois PUNS database for infants, children, adolescents and adults.  You need to sign up for PUNS to get the one-time stipend.  You need to sign up for PUNS to get after school respite for your school-aged child.  You need to sign up for PUNS if you are going to require employment or day services after special education.  You need to sign up for the PUNS if you need or want a community living opportunity.

Marion Regional Office has one Orthopedic Clinic for DSCC clients to be seen by a  Pediatric Orthopedic Specialist.  Call our office to find out how to schedule an appoinment.
