About Our Staff

The St. Clair Regional Office staff are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Professional and Support staff work together as a team to provide care coordination for eligible children. Team members include Nurses, Social Workers, Speech and Hearing professionals and program consultant aides (PCA). A Program Services Manager (PSM) supervises the Regional office team. The office is located at:

State of Illinois - All Kids

         ALL KIDS - Illinois' Health Insurance Program

ALL KIDS offers Illinois' uninsured children comprehensive, affordable health insurance.  It covers doctor's visits, hospital stays, prescription drugs, dental care, vision care and eyeglasses, regular check-ups and immunization shots.  All Kids also covers special services like medical equipment, speech therapy and physical therapy for children who need them.  KidCare and Medicaid are now part of All Kids.  DSCC clients can obtain an All Kids application form from your local DSCC office.  Assistance in completing the application is also available, upon request.

GENETICS CLINIC AT
      MADISON COUNTY HEALTH DEPARMENT

The Madison County Health Department is offering genetics clinics in conjunction with Saint Louis University and SSM Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital.

Who can benefit from genetics services?

  • Children with a known or suspected genetics condition
  • Pregnant women or couples concerned about having a baby with a birth defect
  • Members of certain ethnic groups at risk for Sickle Cell or Tay Sachs
  • Adults with a known or suspected genetic condition
  • People with learning and developmental disabilities

To make an appointment or to talk to a nurse about the program, call (618) 692-8954 ext. 2.  The clinic visit is free and open to all.


STARNET, Region IV, is a Support and Technical Assistance Regional Network that provides training, consultation and resources to professionals and parents of children ages birth through age eight (with emphasis on children with special needs).  Region IV serves the southern 38 counties of Illinois.

HAPPIEST TODDLER & HAPPIEST BABY Classes

Funded thru the United Way, Community Like’s first Step

Early Learning & Family Support Program in Breese.

Classes are FREE

Happiest Toddler classes are for parents/caregivers with

Children 1-4 years old. Material covers how to eliminate tantrums,

Raise patient, respectful & cooperative 1 – 4 yr olds, tips & techniques to help improve communication.

 

Happiest Baby classes are for new or expectant parents and caregivers.

Certified instructors will focus on understanding newborn behavior and offer strategies to sooth fussy babies, and information on understanding newborn behavior.

 

Classes will be held at St Joseph’s Hospital, Breese, IL at the Health-Plex on the hospital campus.
