Dupage Regional Office staff are available Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Professional and Support staff work together as a team to provide care coordination for eligible children. Team members include Nurses, Social Workers, Speech and Hearing professionals and program consultant aides (PCA). A Program Services Manager (PSM) supervises the Regional office team. August 6	The DuPage County Back to School Fair will be held at the DuPage County Fairgrounds, 2015 W. Manchester Road, Wheaton from 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. A limited number of school physicals will be available. Call (630) 893-5230 for an appointment. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. This is a one stop shopping event for families living on low incomes in DuPage County.
August 7	The Annual Back to School Fair coordinated by Catholic Charities DAYBREAK Center will be held at the University of St. Francis, 500 Wilcox St. Joliet, IL 60435 from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. This is a one-stop shopping event of health and human services for low-income families living in Will County with children ages newborn to 18 years.
August 9	Project Unity's Back-to-School Fair will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the John Harkness Center, 60 S. Fourth St., Aurora, IL. This event is a one-stop shopping event of health and human services open to limited income families attending Aurora schools.
August 26	The DuPage County Clinic will be held today at Central Dupage Hospital, Medical Offices at Danada in Wheaton. Preregistration is required. Please call (800) 455-2639 for more information.

Kane County Health Dept. Satellite Schedule
The DuPage Regional Office has a Satellite Office in Kane County.  It is located in the Kane County Health Department Building, 1240 N. Highland Ave. #15, Aurora, IL  60506,  the telephone number is  toll free 1 800-455-2639 or 630-859-2656. The Kane County Satellite Office is staffed on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  Please call ahead for an appointment. 

Dupage County Early Intervention offers developmental screenings for 0-3 year olds.  Call Child and Family Connections at (630) 493-0400 or www.pactinc.net  for additional information on dates and locations of the screenings.

The Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program that helps low-income households with the costs of home heating and cooling.   For further information including eligibility and assistance, the phone number is (800) 252-8643.

The Dupage Children's Museum offers a monthly evening for children with Autism called "The Third Thursday".  It is a special time for families from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.  On the third Thursday of each month, a resource table will be set up, the art studio will be open, and specially trained staff will be on the museum floor.   For more information call (630) 637-8000 or www.dupagechildrensmuseum.org/.

The Western DuPage Special Recreation Association (WDSRA)is offering "Rec & Roll", a recreation based day program for adults 18 and older that emphasizes service projects, music, field trips, current events, outdoor recreation, etc.  The program activities will be based around a weekly theme and comunity field trips will be planned!  The program will be offered in Carol Stream and Naperville, IL.  For further information and fee schedule call (630) 681-0962 x 129 or register online at www.wdsra.com.
